DropBox Support

I am excited to announce that RingClone now has DropBox support! Archiving your calls, messages, texts, and faxes with DropBox is a snap! All the features you are familiar with (such as file name templates, instant sub-folders, automatic user/date/ext/caller categorization) are now available with your DropBox account.

If you are setting up RingClone for the first time (and want to use DropBox), follow these simple steps :

  1. Click “Archives” at the top.
  2. You will see a list of destination options (including DropBox). Click the option for “DropBox”.
    select dropbox
  3. Click “Go to DropBox” to give RingClone permission to archive files to your DropBox account.
    go to dropbox
  4. Confirm the main sub-folder (RingClone) by clicking “Next”.
    confirm main RingClone folder
  5. Select the types of data for RingClone to archive (or to use for QA).
    select logs and content
  6. Create your sub-folder and file templates with the easy-to-use drag/drop interface.
    set up sub folders
  7. Click “Confirm”.
    click confirm

If you already have archiving set up with RingClone, and would like to change your destination to DropBox, follow these simple steps:

  1. Under “Archives” -> “Configuration”, next to the “Destination” title, click “change”.
    change destination
  2. You will now see a new option for “DropBox”. Click that.
    change destination
  3. Click “Go to DropBox” to give RingClone permission to archive files to your DropBox account.
    change destination
  4. Confirm the main sub-folder (RingClone) by clicking “Next”.
    change destination

That’s it! If you had archiving set up and are switching to DropBox, all your previously configured sub-folder and file templates will be automatically transferred over. After completing these steps, RingClone will start archiving to your DropBox account.
